2010, March 15th, was put into operation the High Velocity Oxygen Fuel System purchased as a part of realization company's project supported by European Regional Development Fund in frames of Wielkopolska Region Operational Program. The unit is dedicated to protective coatings of aerospace engines.

Financial Support from European Regional Development Fund

VAC AERO Kalisz presented to support it’s own project entitled “Innovative Line for Special Processes on Turbines’ and Compressors’ Shafts”.
The project get positive assessment from the Program Committee and the Company was recommended to get the grant. December,30, 2008 the Project Support Agreement was signed.
In frames of this project the Company had installed:
· advanced vertical vacuum furnace for heat treat of long shafts in vertical, unrestrained position,
· equipment for activation of internal and external surfaces of shafts before inorganic coatings,
· equipment for coatings of internal and external shafts’ surfaces,
· special tooling for inorganic and plasma coatings,
· advanced, programmed oven for thermal coagulation of inorganic coatings,
· specialized equipment for visual inspection of coatings quality.
Realization of the Project enables VAC AERO KALISZ to extend range of services offered to aerospace prime contactors (e.g. heat treatment of shafts exceeding 60 inches of length, inorganic paint coating of inner surfaces of such shafts) and allows to increase annual sales for more than 30%.
Total worth of the project: over 2,000,000.00 polish zloty; level of support: 50% (expected amount of subsidy: 1,012,084.63 polish zloty).
Startup of vertical vacuum furnace.

2008, September 17th, was put into operation the vertical vacuum furnace VAV 4872 HV-1.5 manufactured by VAC AERO International. Work zone size: 48 inches diameter, 72 inches high. The unit is dedicated to the heat treatment of long shafts.
Five years of VAC AERO's presence in Poland

The 5th anniversary of establishing first Polish subsidiary of VAC AERO INTERNATIONAL Inc. falls in September. Employment in VAC AERO KALISZ Sp. z o.o. was gradually growing from 23 people in first financial year up to 57 at present. Sales figures grew up in the same time over 500 percent. Employees celebrated the Anniversary during open-air event in "Indian Village" near Kalisz.
